L'Ecu de Bretagne is a restored inn situated in the center of Beaugency. A small medieval town situated at the beginning of the road through the châteaux of the Loire region and right at the cross point of the Sologne and Loire region. A recently built swimming pool sits protected by the ancient city walls in a calm and serene enclosure. The twenty eight bedrooms are separated into two buildings. The first contains sixteen bedrooms overlooking the Martroi square. The second contains twelve bedrooms. The restaurant has forty sits and there is also a private dining room with fifty sits. The restaurant serves local "cuisine bourgeoise".
